ABOUT

I am a creative storyteller with experience in digital media, content creation, producing, social media management, journalism, and advocacy.

Unique to my Bay Area upbringing, I grew up in an entertainment industry household. My parents ran an international distribution company out of our house until the company grew too big for our home office.

During my high school years, I began writing scripts after being grounded for months, as it was my only outlet and became my excuse to hang out with friends as my school had agreed to produce my work as an extra curricular. By the time I graduated, I have written, produced, directed, and starred in two plays, and one student film. I went on to study at San Francisco State University, where I majored in Cinema, with a focus in Screenwriting, and minored in Theater.

In between academics and learning the basic consequences of adulthood, I was lucky to have amazing internship opportunities ranging from reality show production and development in LA, to live broadcast radio production in San Francisco, and media planning and international television production in Stockholm, Sweden.

Over the last ten years, I have expanded my experience and pivoted from entertainment to online media in the journalism and advocacy fields.
